Abrams (creador de Alias), Jeffrey Lieber (un relativo novato que actuaba y escribía para teatro en Chicago) y Damon Lindelof (que era uno de los guionistas principales de Crossing Jordan) tiene una factura cinematográfica muy decente con unos guiones que mantienen sin problemas la tensión. La estructura de los episodios es similar en todos ellos. Por una parte se sigue las evoluciones en la isla y por otra vemos flashbacks de la vida de los protagonistas justo hasta el momento en que están en el aeropuerto para enbarcar. La dirección es más que decente recayendo buena parte de esta en J.J. Abrams (creador de la serie) y Jack Bender que tiene mucha experiencia habiendo sido director en casi media centena de series desde Falcon Crest hasta Los Sopranos o Alias pasando por Doctor en Alaska. Su fuerza, velocidad y resistencia en el combate son excelentes, siendo sólo claramente vencido por Happosai y Cologne, el primero es el antiguo maestro de artes marciales de su padre, mientras que la última es la bisabuela de Shampoo. Además, aprende muy rápido y es capaz de improvisar con facilidad. Es tenaz, terco y no se rinde con facilidad, además de ser algo prepotente. Su vida siempre ha sido un sinfín de viajes y anécdotas con su padre, entre las que destaca su viaje a los lagos encantados de Jusenkyo, donde, al no escuchar las indicaciones del guía, su padre y él caen en los estanques durante un entrenamiento, forjándose así una maldición para ellos. En Spider-Man 3, basada en la legendaria serie de Marvel Comics, Peter Parker ha finalmente logrado un balance entre su devoción por M.J. y sus deberes como súper héroe.
